Genuine Mindful Living

Editorial policy

Genuine Mindful Living aims to make careful, readable work about attention and daily life. We distinguish description from suggestion and avoid presenting a personal practice as a universal answer.

Accuracy and care

We check factual statements against relevant material before publication and use language that reflects what can reasonably be said. Claims about mindfulness are kept proportionate; we do not promise health outcomes or present general editorial content as medical advice. When a subject is uncertain or contested, we aim to make that clear.

Independence and labelling

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as an undisclosed part of a commercial arrangement. Material created through a paid sponsorship or partnership will be clearly labelled where it appears. Partner placements are identified as partner material and kept distinct from independent editorial articles.

Corrections

If a published piece contains a factual error, readers can contact us with the article title, the detail in question, and any helpful context. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Where an illustration is AI-generated, we aim to label it accordingly. Illustrations are not evidence for factual claims, and we take care not to use them in a way that misleads readers about real people or events.

Our point of view

Attention belongs in ordinary life

Mindfulness need not be a separate project. We look for grounded ways to notice what is already here, with room for different days and different people.
